Job Title: Full-time Hostel Attendant

The Parkdale Hostellerie is seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team as a Full-time Hostel Attendant.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and organized person to assist with the daily operations of our hostel. As a Full-time Hostel Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostel, including common areas and guest rooms.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including check-in and check-out, and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Support the housekeeping team with laundry, cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or hospitality industry an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
