About Us: At StandardAero, we strive to be a leader in the aerospace industry, prioritizing sustainability and environmental stewardship in our operations. We're seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team and drive our environmental initiatives forward.

Job Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies, procedures, and management systems. This will involve ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as promoting sustainability throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Management: Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance metrics, prepare and submit environmental reports, permits, and documentation as required.
  • Environmental Program Development: Develop and maintain environmental policies, procedures, and management systems, lead efforts to reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption.
  • Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct environmental assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, analyze data and report on environmental performance.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and support to employees on environmental policies, procedures, and best practices, promote awareness of environmental issues.
  • Project Management: Lead or support environmental projects and initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental improvements.
  • External Relations: Liaise with regulatory agencies, environmental organizations, and community stakeholders on environmental matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental or a related role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management skills and experience leading environmental initiatives.
