As a Senior Water Resources Engineer at KGS Group, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile water resources projects across Canada, the U.S., and beyond. The Role

We are looking for a highly proactive and analytical individual with exceptional problem-solving skills, a strong proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office, and excellent English verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a specialization in water resources engineering, minimum 10 years of experience in water resources engineering, and demonstrated project management skills.

You will be responsible for hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling, design of hydraulic structures, water conveyance and storage systems, preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications, and collaboration with project teams and other disciplines within KGS Group.

About You

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling.
  • Design of hydraulic structures, water conveyance and storage systems.
  • Preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Preparation of bid/proposal packages.
  • Preparation and delivery of professional presentations.
  • Collaboration with the project teams and other disciplines within KGS Group.
  • Helping to maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage water resources projects from the proposal stage through to completion, including establishment of budgets and maintaining client relationships.
  • Pursuing new business opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
