Real Estate Asset Management Executive

Fitzrovia Real Estate Inc is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Montreal office as Vice President, Real Estate Asset Management. This role will be responsible for overseeing the regional management of our investment strategy and related business activities, ensuring efficient operations and execution of our overall strategy in the Montreal region.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with senior members of the company to develop and implement investment strategies and business plans.
- Engage with third-party brokers and landowners to secure transaction opportunities and build a pipeline of potential investments.
- Assess potential investments through financial modeling and market research, and provide data-driven analysis to inform major decision-making.
- Oversee the creation of investment committee memorandums and due diligence materials for new acquisitions.
- Assist with securing land, bridge, construction, and permanent financing, and prepare lender packages, valuations, budgets, and due diligence materials.
- Work with the asset management team to formulate asset business plans for income-producing assets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Oversee asset management and property management teams for Montreal properties to ensure successful execution of asset business capital plans.
- Represent the company on industry panels and at industry networking events.
- Provide business oversight and leadership to regional employees, ensuring a culture of performance and accountability.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- ~10+ years of experience in finance, including principal investing at a private equity company or real estate firm.
- Investment banking experience is considered an asset.
- Real estate experience and a keen interest in developing a network of relationships in the sector.
- Advanced analytical skills with expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Motivated to oversee the work and contribute to the development of junior members of the investments team.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter with an ability to work independently and synergistically in a lean and horizontal corporate structure.
- Willingness to engage in frequent travel to the Toronto office.
