Senior Director, Real Estate Investments and Asset Management

About the Role
iA Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director to lead our Real Estate Investments and Asset Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and optimizing the value of our real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy for our real estate portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead financial analysis and due diligence for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, provisions, and development projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities, while managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of analysts and managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of real estate transactions and asset management activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including property managers, investors, and industry experts, to stay informed about market trends and best practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the Investment Committee, providing insights and recommendations on real estate portfolio performance and strategic direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Urban and Real Estate Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in real estate transactions and asset management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Excellent command of French and English (oral and written) for frequent interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
