We are looking for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our Voith Paper, P&S Sales North America department. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating orders and sales for Voith Paper, Products & Services in the Eastern Canada territory.

Job Profile Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will promote both the Paper Machine (PM) and the Fibers Systems (FES) division's products and services to customers in the Eastern Canada territory. This includes helping customers understand how our products, repairs, spare parts, and services can support their needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the Eastern Canada territory to understand their needs and identify opportunities for Voith Paper.
  • Travel extensively to visit customers and job sites to manage and develop the products, consumable, spare parts, and service business for the products and services group.
  • Research, execute, and follow up on reporting for mill visits to ensure maximum opportunity for sales.
  • Support the territory Customer Service Specialist to ensure Voith gets maximum opportunity for spares and repairs business.
  • Provide feedback to Voith Paper through call reports and verbal communication to ensure we provide the optimal solutions and services to our customers.

Experience/Education Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with a pulp and paper supplier firm or experience working in a paper mill.
  • Excellent understanding of the paper industry with emphasis on recycling and stock preparation, paper machine, and finishing.
  • Skilled in communications with customers, with an ability to focus on strategic opportunities and benefits-based approaches.
  • Self-starter who can develop opportunities independently and communicate with a wide variety of resources within Voith Paper.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and ability to write detailed technical reports.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) in French required.

Location Required

The successful candidate must live or be willing to relocate to an area central to the Eastern Canada territory. Extensive travel within the region is expected, with occasional travel to the US.
