**Position Overview**

Operating in a manner consistent with HGH’s mission, vision and values, the IT Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining all IT operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that enhance the overall functionality of the hospital.
- Healthcare IT Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including electronic health records (EPIC), medical imaging, and patient management systems.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely implementation and efficient use of resources.
- Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor IT budgets, prioritize spending, and allocate resources effectively.

**Criminal Check**

As a pre-condition of employment:

**What we are looking for**
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years' experience in IT
- Proven experience in managing/supervision of employees
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
