Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at 7886705 CANADA CORPORATION. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment to maintain a high level of hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook simple food items, such as heating and finishing dishes, and portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at the counter or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work.
