About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at BOUTON D'OR FOOD LTD. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
    • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently
    • Package take-out food for customers
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Inventory Management
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used and maintain accurate inventory levels
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a smooth food service operation
  • Cleanliness and Safety
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment to prevent accidents and ensure customer safety
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at BOUTON D'OR FOOD LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the duties of a Food Counter Attendant
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills are essential for this role
    • Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
    • Dependability, flexibility, and excellent oral communication skills are also required
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Work Term and Language

This is a permanent position with a work term of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English or French.
