About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Food and Beverage Company of Kanata Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands
    • Portion and wrap foods to ensure quality and presentation
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Inventory Management
    • Keep records of food quantities used to optimize inventory levels
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer needs
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth service experience
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve any issues
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Will train on the job to ensure success
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
    • Physically demanding with standing for extended periods
    • Work under pressure to meet customer demands
