Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at COBS Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Bakery Team Member, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and overtime required. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral communication, judgement, reliability, team player, and patience.
- Health Benefits: Health care plan.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
