About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at 2334915 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers.
  • Decorating: Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Operations: Schedule staff, inspect kitchen and food service areas, and operate machinery.
  • Merchandising: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, reliability, team player, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
