About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our team at COBS Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Customer Service: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and physical stamina to perform tasks.
