We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Nasittuq Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position that requires 48 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in the field and hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
You will be working outdoors in various locations across Canada, often in cold/refrigerated environments. Room and board will be provided, as well as access to steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and inspections
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Experience working in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- A Registered Apprenticeship certificate
- Basic security clearance
- The ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
