Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Nasittuq Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that requires 48 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in the field and hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.

You will be working outdoors in various locations across Canada, often in cold/refrigerated environments. Room and board will be provided, as well as access to steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and inspections
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
  • Experience working in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • A Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
