Overview

The National Bank is seeking an exceptional Senior Investment Operations Director to join our dynamic team in Investment Operations. Job Description

As a Senior Investment Operations Director, you will lead a team of +/- 15 auxiliary employees responsible for account opening and documentation management. Your primary objectives will be to ensure the smooth running of operations, guarantee timely and efficient handling of files, and mobilize your team members to achieve business plan goals.



Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize and manage human resources autonomously to ensure the achievement of the business plan
  • Ensure the workflow of your section meets service productivity and quality objectives, and complies with policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor support activities and implement controls to maximize efficiency and quality of operations, while contributing to their evolution
  • Conduct or oversee various analyses, research, or special projects with a significant impact on bank profitability and efficiency
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with stakeholders involved in section activities
  • Ensure employee development and updating through personalized coaching
  • Implement and monitor development plans


Your Team

As a member of our large IT Operations sector team, you will report to the Director, Account Opening & Documentation Management, Investment Operations. Our team is known for its dynamism, collaboration between peers and the business line, and commitment to serving clients well.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $105,000 - $130,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.



Prerequisites

  • Industry-related bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 2 years of experience OR University certificate and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in people management and coaching
  • Experience in banking and investment is essential
  • Ability to plan and organize work according to volume, resources, and priorities
  • Knowledge of investment products and brokerage accounts is desirable
  • Experience in process and operations optimization is a strong asset
