Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Addiction Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health. This full-time position will involve providing individual and group counseling services to patients struggling with mental health and addiction issues.
About the JobThis role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives. As a Mental Health and Addiction Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-informed therapies to support patients in their recovery journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a recognized Social Sciences program with addiction-specific education.
- Valid registration with the relevant college/governing body in Ontario, such as the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO), or in pursuit of relevant credential.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in group and individual counseling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of addictions along a continuum of care, with experience working with chemical dependence, gambling, and concurrent psychiatric disorders.
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
