Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health and Addiction Therapist to join our team at Homewood Health. This full-time position will involve providing individual and group counseling services to patients struggling with mental health and addiction issues.

About the Job

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives. As a Mental Health and Addiction Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-informed therapies to support patients in their recovery journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a recognized Social Sciences program with addiction-specific education.
  • Valid registration with the relevant college/governing body in Ontario, such as the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO), or in pursuit of relevant credential.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in group and individual counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of addictions along a continuum of care, with experience working with chemical dependence, gambling, and concurrent psychiatric disorders.
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
