Salary and Benefits

Job Description

As an Adult Community Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients with mental health and addiction disorders. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Documenting patient information in electronic medical records

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPS) or equivalent body acceptable to the RCPS (C)
  • Experience working in mental health and addiction services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
