Job Summary

This role involves providing expert and compassionate care to clients, upholding established clinical standards while supporting individualized care plans prescribed by physicians or nurse practitioners. Key responsibilities include administering services such as immunizations, flu clinics, travel medicine assessments, ear irrigation, and other treatments as needed, as well as maintaining accurate and confidential client health records.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and contribute to interdisciplinary efforts to promote care plans. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care are essential qualities we look for in our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer various medical services including immunizations, flu clinics, and travel medicine assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client health records.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and equipment using autoclaving procedures.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to promote care plans.
  • Educate clients on healthcare needs, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $50 per hour, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. This casual position requires ability to commute or relocate to Vancouver, BC before starting work. In accordance with provincial health orders, Harrison Healthcare requires employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
