Restaurant Manager Job Description
At Subway Sandwiches and Salads, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members and identify areas for improvement.
- Cost products and services to optimize profitability and maintain a competitive edge.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and growth.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide exceptional customer service.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
