We are seeking an experienced Financial Data Specialist to join our team at Imperium Logistics Inc. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Maintain financial records, establish, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights into company performance.
- Post journal entries, accurately recording business transactions and maintaining a clear audit trail.
- Compile and analyze financial reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Reconcile accounts, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; degree or diploma in accounting or finance an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with bookkeeping software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
