Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the negotiation and finalizing of licensing agreements, including drafting language to address complex legal and business concepts.
  • Work with the litigation team to support litigation strategy and execution.
  • Support licensing executives in achieving business goals and targets.
  • Multitask across multiple licensing engagements and handle several license negotiations concurrently.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and a broad business perspective to design and develop projects, processes, and content relevant to our patent licensing business.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in litigation and contract drafting.
  • Proven deal-making skills – ability to understand all sides in a negotiation while seeking effective and creative solutions.
  • Litigation/contract drafting experience in OTT/Streaming Video and/or social media markets is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with patent licenses and related legal agreements is required.
  • Project management skills, and determination to see things through to completion.
  • Analytical skills and understanding of financial analyses.
  • Communication skills, excellent command of written and spoken English.
