In this role as a Community Mental Health Support Specialist with the North Zone (NZ) Mental Health and Addiction department, you will work with the NZ Assertive Outreach Services (AOS) Team to provide in-person support and interventions to AOS clients and their families.

You will contribute to the delivery of community-based mental health services using psychosocial rehabilitation principles, promoting client respect, autonomy, health, and improved quality of life.

Your duties will include carrying out assigned tasks in a client-focused recovery plan which includes support to participate in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.

This position requires a diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent, as well as experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

A competitive rate of pay is offered, along with a Northern Allowance of up to $6,300 per year and travel expense reimbursement for eligible employees.
