Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Relief Part-Time Caregiver and Home Support Specialist to join our team in Chase, BC. This position involves providing home support services to clients, assisting with personal care, daily living, and promoting maximum independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home by performing household duties
- Preparing meals in accordance with designated plans
- Providing assistance with mobility and transfers
- Observing and reporting changes in client behavior and condition
- Performing delegated tasks according to training and procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Home Support Worker Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registry
- Current valid BC Drivers' License and use of a reliable vehicle
Estimated Salary Range: $25-$32 per hour (based on experience)
About this Opportunity:
