Job Title: HSSE Advisor II

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective QHSSE plans and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure QHSSE standards are met.
  • Provide training and support to employees on QHSSE policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain QHSSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure Fugro remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without restrictions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university level education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a QHSSE role, preferably in the offshore energy, marine services, and/or survey industry.
  • ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 internal auditor certifications are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continual improvement of QHSSE matters.
  • Ability to work primarily in an office setting, with occasional travel for site visits, inspections, and client meetings.
