Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team in our Langley office. This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multitasking, and detail-oriented with strong communication and people skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting corporate legal documentation, including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, various share transactions, extra-provincial registrations, various types of dividend transactions, name changes, restorations, and other documents as required.
  • Conducting minute book reviews and fixing deficiencies as required.
  • Preparing closing agendas.
  • Corresponding with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructions.
  • Mentoring, training, and coaching Corporate Services staff members.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practice.
  • A Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Understanding of BC Online ALF, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
