Finance Business Partner Role at First West Credit Union

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team in Langley, British Columbia. The successful candidate will deliver financial support to specific lines of business and/or subsidiaries, managing the financial planning, budgeting, and analysis processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial and business performance for assigned business lines and/or subsidiaries;
  • Support senior leadership by providing recommendations for improved financial performance;
  • Prepare line of business reporting ensuring content is consistent with First West standards;
  • Participate in business initiatives representing finance and supporting the business in developing sound financial business cases;
  • Develop strong working relationships with all business units and department leaders;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field;
  • 5 years' experience in progressively senior positions within the financial services industry or in an analysis-focused role;
  • Working knowledge of corporate planning processes;
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-departmental and multiple business unit groups;
  • Strong action orientation combined with the ability to balance practical implementation issues;
