Job Summary

Syncra Construction Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, as well as training staff and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems
  • Train staff on accounting procedures and systems
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures
  • Examine accounting records
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice
  • Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

Requirements

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Group insurance benefits
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
