As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our airport operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering secure areas
  • Control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personnel enter
  • Respond to alarms and report any incidents, illegal acts, or violations
  • Participate in emergency operations within the airport, working collaboratively with our team
Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Have a clean criminal record and be eligible for a RAIC (security clearance)
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be located near St. John's or willing to relocate before starting
