About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team at The UPS Store #468. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Shipping Method: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method for our customers' packages.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents to ensure timely and secure delivery.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Carefully inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain Record-Keeping System: Maintain a detailed and accurate internal record-keeping system to track shipments, inventory, and customer information.
  • Record Shortages and Damaged Goods: Promptly record and report any shortages or damaged goods to ensure prompt resolution and minimize losses.
  • Route Goods to Storage Areas: Efficiently route goods to designated storage areas to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Pack and Unpack Goods: Safely pack and unpack goods to prevent damage and ensure secure transportation.
  • Affix Shipping Information: Accurately affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments to ensure timely and secure delivery.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
  • Process Payments: Process payments for goods and services to maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for this role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
