About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Coordinator to join our team at Floorit. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from our distribution center to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Shipments
    • Plan and schedule the distribution of goods to meet customer demands
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Prepare Shipping Documents
    • Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
    • Verify accuracy and completeness of documents
  • Inspect and Verify Goods
    • Inspect incoming goods against invoices and other documents
    • Verify the quality and condition of goods
  • Record-Keeping and Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and shipments
    • Monitor and report on inventory levels and shipment status
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts safely and efficiently
    • Use pallet lifters to move goods
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Use own vehicle for deliveries and pickups
    • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
    • Handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Accurate and efficient in work habits
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 24 to 40 hours per week
