Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication and Welding Expert to join our team at AWC Solutions. As an Intermediate Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding aluminum and stainless steel components using various shop equipment and tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate and weld aluminum and stainless steel components.
  • Fabricate and weld components using various shop equipment and tools, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the fabrication process, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect and correct welds as necessary, to meet product specifications.
  • Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment, notifying supervisor if any equipment needs repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Support QA/QC activities as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members as required, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with accredited trade school or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum + years of relevant fabrication and welding experience, with + years as a Junior Fabricator/Welder or equivalent.
  • CWB and ASME certifications (as applicable).
