Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Executive to join our team at Simcoe Geoscience Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Supervise a team of 16-20 people in various areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet organizational objectives.
Security and Safety
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal record check prior to employment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Large workload and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Personal Suitability
