The Opportunity


This role involves developing training materials in various media formats, following established guidelines to design and develop training content for classroom delivery, computer-based training, video, and instructors using actual or simulated equipment and systems.



Your Responsibilities



  • Develop storyboards, lessons, instructor guides, student guides, and other training materials using computerized databases, word processing, and computer-based training development tools.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), graphic artists, and others as directed to design and develop computer-aided instruction (CAI) and mediated interactive lecture lessons.
  • Work independently or with other team members and customers to validate training materials.


Your Profile



  • Rélevant diploma from a trade/technical school and 3–5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of a Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English are mandatory.
  • Ability to create and update a wide variety of media using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Animate, Media Encoder, Premier, and Audition, and other Adobe software.
  • Ability to hold a Canadian Level II NATO Secret Security Clearance.
  • CAE employees must meet the requirements of the Canada Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and in certain cases, ITAR requirements.
  • In accordance with CAE's Epidemic/Pandemic vaccination policy, as the work to be performed occurs on a customer site where vaccination is required by the Government of Canada, there is a condition of employment to be fully vaccinated.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident, or with a valid Work Permit (mandatory).

Salary Information


The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
