Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
As a Structures AME, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes inspecting and releasing maintenance work, following approved repair procedures, and collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals. You will also be required to perform serviceability tests on repairs and complete work package documentation after finishing all designated operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and release maintenance work to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Follow approved repair procedures for components or aircraft, consulting internal procedures, OEM technical data, and work package instructions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform serviceability tests on repairs using test equipment specified in technical manuals.
  • Complete work package documentation after finishing all designated operations.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Transport Canada AME "S" Type license or Military ACS training on helicopters.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in structures maintenance.
  • Self-motivated and able to process complex systems and logically think through problems.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals and ability to navigate vendor data.
  • Knowledge of aviation standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
  • Frequent lifting of materials up to 30 lbs.
