Job Title: Bilingual Project Control Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Project Control Officer to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the budget, reviewing time tracking reports, ensuring invoices are approved, and supporting the Delivery Team in maintaining project files.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the project budget, including auditing items to be delivered under projects.
  2. Review weekly and monthly time tracking reports for anomalies and ensure all invoices have been approved with proper sign-offs prior to payment.
  3. Ensure drawdowns are properly recorded and maintain ongoing cost to complete forecasts, including full reconciliation of the project budget and completing investigations for differences as they occur.
  4. Support the Delivery Team in maintaining project files, including project documentation, approvals, drawdowns, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, monthly status reports, third-party contracts, and other correspondence and documentation as appropriate.
  5. Support the Delivery Manager to ensure all appropriate areas are represented on the project team and maintain momentum of the project against a background of constantly conflicting priorities.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience working on projects end-to-end in FI.
  2. Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
  3. 3+ years of experience with MS Projects.
  4. 3+ years of experience working on financial project management and budget management.
  5. Bilingual in Spanish/English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Clarity.
  • Experience working on projects at big 5 banks in Canada.
Education:

Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma.

The ideal candidate would have financial management experience at one of the big 5 banks and would have Clarity experience as well.
