Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Foxwood Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Clerical Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Customer Service: Provide customer service, contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
