Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Timber Ridge Inn and Suites LTD. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
  • Communication: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Payment Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a accurate and efficient manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and assist with clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

As a Front Desk Agent at Timber Ridge Inn and Suites LTD., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team-oriented environment.
