The Opportunity

Manulife is seeking a seasoned Program Director to join our Data Office and drive the delivery of high-impact data programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing program management best practices, ensuring the successful execution of data initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence within the Data Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to program managers and teams, ensuring the successful delivery of data programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program management playbook, incorporating industry best practices and Manulife standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Lead the development of program dashboards and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data architects, and engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the Data Office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on data and analytics.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact programs and initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and data technology solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues into actionable recommendations.
