As a key member of the Rogers Communications team, you will be responsible for providing specialized media revenue planning expertise to the department through extensive market knowledge. This includes audience research and forecasting, market pricing, audience post analysis & tracking, yield/inventory/revenue management principles, and revenue impact/assessment of programming/schedule strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and implement media audience forecasts, rationale, and audience posts for RSM Non-Sports Specialty and any future brand extensions.
Prepare post-performance analyses of individual and collective program performance, and interpret results to modify revenue generation strategies and expectations, as required.
Provide insights and assessments on the competitive marketplace, and contribute to the development of strategies required to address program performance, both positive and negative.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and industry tools/measurement such as InStar, S4M, etc.
Strong knowledge of the advertising industry and how it functions, as well as relevant industry experience such as buying or planning agency side.
Comprehensive knowledge of basic research data (i.e. Numeris) and qualitative research tools and other tools indicating market position.
Strong analytical skills with an acute attention to detail and strategic thinking.
