Job Title: Field Support Specialist

**Job Summary:**

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Field Support Specialist to join our team. As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Field Service Operations: Lead in-depth troubleshooting and resolution of complex hardware and software issues escalated from lower support tiers.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and system configurations.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of technical issues and solutions.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within the field service operations.
  • Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor new field technicians on technical aspects, best practices, and procedures.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in desktop engineering and/or desktop hardware and software configuration troubleshooting for Intel and iOS based systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like network printers and scanners.
  • Server Systems and Operating Systems: Knowledge of various server systems, operating systems, network equipment, console access, and diverse technical environment.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working Experience on MAC: Working experience on MAC will be an added advantage.
  • SCCM/PXE Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the use of SCCM/PXE for imaging.
