About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Prokare Support Services Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Mobility and Transfers: Safely transfer patients from wheelchairs to beds and vice versa, and assist with walking and mobility exercises.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Serve meal trays and assist patients with eating and drinking.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain patients' rooms and common areas in a clean and safe environment.
  • Communication: Respond to patients' call signals and communicate with healthcare staff to ensure patients' needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and report any discrepancies to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
