About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient inventory management.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Establish effective communication with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
