Job Title: Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at POK GLOBAL. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and provide wound care as needed.
  • Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents, promoting healthy development and bonding.
  • Feed or assist clients with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's living space is comfortable and safe.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check and basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with overtime required at times.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain energy levels.
  • Work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
