Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Personal Support Worker to join our team at Tranquil Care Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a PSW certification from a recognized educational institution and have experience in providing homemaking and personal support activities, including care of seniors and eldercare.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal support and homemaking services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, and provide support with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, recognizing and reporting any safety issues or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

- PSW certification from a recognized educational institution
- Experience in providing homemaking and personal support activities, including care of seniors and eldercare
- Compassionate and flexible nature, with a client-centered approach to caregiving
- Ability to recognize safety issues and follow safe work practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel between assignments by public transportation or by car
- Weekend availability is a must
- Knowledge of PCC or POC is a definite asset
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED WITH THE COVID-19 VACCINE

Education and Certification:

- Secondary School (preferred)
- PSW Certificate from Canada (required)
