About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at POK GLOBAL. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their cleanliness and comfort.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Change non-sterile dressings, following proper infection control procedures.
  • Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents, providing guidance and support.
  • Feed or assist clients with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the client's home is safe and comfortable.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.

Requirements:

  • Criminal record check and basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with overtime required at times.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain physical health.
