Job Title: HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team at MDPI. This role will be an integral part of our regional HR team, reporting directly to the HR Manager Europe & North America.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Payroll Management: Coordinate with the outsourced payroll partner to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, prepare HR reports, and manage HR documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
