Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Clerical Supervisor to join the Chemotherapy team at Richmond Hospital. As a Clerical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of staff, coordinating clerical workflow, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of designated staff
  • Oversee the coordination of clerical workflow, including scheduling and staffing
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Assist with meeting clerical support service needs
  • Maintain departmental levels of clinic supplies and perform accounts payable functions
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 plus three years' recent, related experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity
  • Ability to keyboard at 45 w.p.m.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
