We are seeking a seasoned People & Operations Manager to lead our Server Management team in the Americas, responsible for delivering high-quality operations support and ensuring business continuity.

As a People & Operations Manager at SAP, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports 24x7 operations of critical SAP systems in the cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of Linux & Cloud platform specialists, ensuring smooth operations support, escalation handling, and collaboration with other teams.
Job Description- Manage a team of senior & experienced professionals, focusing on people management, ensuring smooth operations support, escalation handling, and collaboration with other teams.
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase quality of operations support, reduce outages, improve efficiency, identify process gaps, and optimize resource utilization.
- Bring functional expertise in OS (primarily Linux), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, VMWare, IBM Cloud), automation & container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible etc.
- Ensure business continuity by effective management of team's work - both daily operations and projects.
- 5+ years of experience managing senior & experienced team members.
- Good understanding of Linux based server operating systems including Linux HA cluster technologies like Pacemaker, IT security & OS hardening concepts, networking, storage, Data Center Operations etc.
- Experience managing server operations in large environments and/or in public clouds, like MS Azure, AWS, GCP. Experience in ITIL & ITSM.
- Experience communicating with customers on technical, service & operations topics, with ability to handle escalated customer situations.
- A visionary leader who questions status quo and identifies/ implements innovative solutions.
- Fluency in English language and ability to work in global, multi-cultural teams is a key requirement.
SAP provides a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $124,700 - $265,100 CAD per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
