Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Worker to join our team at School District #91 (Nechako Lakes). As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with school and district staff to foster and develop the individual student's potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Work with students to set and achieve academic goals, and provide feedback and encouragement along the way.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in learning support.
