Transformative Leadership Role

The Enterprise Architecture team at Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to lead the development of technology strategies that align with the company's business goals. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior executives, business line leaders, and stakeholders to assess current capabilities and design solutions that drive innovation and value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Lead the execution of key initiatives, collaborating closely with technology teams to bring the strategy to fruition.
  • Work with technology teams to understand current state gaps, future state capabilities needed, and industry landscape.
  • Lead the prioritization and development of implementation roadmaps to address gaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy or technology/architecture leadership.
  • Focus on technology consulting in the banking domain is an asset.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities.
  • Self-motivated; work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams, as both a leader and member.
